Garmin Fenix 9 Pro 47mm LTE Titanium and Gray Silicone Strap

Garmin Fenix 9 Pro

The Garmin fēnix 9 Pro inReach is an advanced multisport smartwatch designed for athletes, adventurers, and users who need to combine sports tracking, navigation, and communication outside of typical coverage. Its titanium construction, sapphire crystal, and inReach connectivity features make it an exceptionally comprehensive solution for demanding training and outdoor activities.

Screen

Its 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen offers a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and a brightness of up to 3,000 nits. This allows you to view maps, sports metrics, and notifications with good visibility even in bright sunlight. The sapphire crystal provides superior protection against scratches and everyday wear and tear.

Battery and charging

The lithium-ion battery offers up to 18 days of battery life in smartwatch mode . Depending on the settings, it can last up to 32 hours in normal activity mode, 26 hours with maximum accuracy, or 16 hours using activity and LiveTrack via LTE.

Charging is done via Garmin's proprietary connector and the included charging and data cable. Garmin specifies a minimum power output of 5W for the power adapter, which is sold separately.

Performance

The new map engine facilitates smoother navigation and allows for quick movement across the integrated maps. It includes color maps, route navigation, and SatIQ technology with multi-band GNSS positioning , designed to optimize the balance between accuracy and energy consumption.

Advanced metrics for training, preparation, recovery, and endurance help manage effort and tailor your training plan. The Garmin Epic feature lets you group activities performed over several days or weeks to create and share a complete history on Garmin Connect.

Sport and health

It has over 100 activity profiles , including running, cycling, swimming, hiking, skiing, triathlon, golf, rowing, surfing, strength training and diving.

It integrates monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress, temperature, and daily activity. It is also compatible with the Garmin ECG app, although its availability may vary depending on the country, the user's age, and regulatory approvals.

Design and durability

The titanium case combines strength and lightness , while the watertight metal pushers and sapphire crystal are built for heavy use. The watch has a water resistance rating of 10 ATM and is certified for diving activities up to 40 meters according to EN 13319.

The integrated LED flashlight incorporates white, red, and green lighting, offering additional support during night training, emergencies, or mountain activities.

Connectivity

The inReach version can use LTE-M networks and satellite communication with an active inReach service plan. It allows sending text messages and SOS requests via both LTE and satellite. Voice calls, voicemail, Garmin Locate, and LiveTrack require LTE coverage or a connection via a compatible phone and do not work over the satellite connection.

It doesn't work like a conventional mobile line: it doesn't provide a standard phone number or allow you to install a carrier SIM card. LTE and satellite coverage depends on the region and environmental conditions.

It also incorporates Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ANT+ and NFC for Garmin Pay, as well as compatibility with sports accessories and wireless headphones.
