With the AirTag you can easily know where your things are. Put one on your keys and another in your backpack and you'll have them located in the Search app, the same one you use to find your friends and your Apple devices. It's a find, don't miss it.

Find them. By ear.

Have you lost your wallet? The world is not ending. Each AirTag has a built-in speaker and you can make it ring to locate it. Simply open the new Items tab in the Search app or say "Hey Siri, where's my wallet?" If it has fallen nearby, like under the couch, or is in the next room, you'll just have to track the sound.

How does it work?

Your AirTag sends a secure signal via Bluetooth that is detected by nearby devices on the Search network. At that point, the location is sent to iCloud and you can see it on a map in the Find My app. The data is anonymous and encrypted, so your privacy is guaranteed. And don't worry about battery or data consumption, because the entire process is ultra-efficient.

You can put your AirTag in Lost Mode, just like you do with any other Apple device. Thus, as soon as a device on the network detects it, you automatically receive a notification. It is also possible to configure it so that someone knows how to contact you by touching the AirTag with a smartphone that has NFC technology, the same one used to pay from the phone.

Privacy as standard.

Only you can see where your AirTag is, and it doesn't store location data or history. Furthermore, the devices that transmit your position do so anonymously, and everything is encrypted from start to finish. Not even Apple has access to the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that finds it.
