The Nothing Ear (3) are high-end, truly wireless earbuds that combine high-resolution audio, active noise cancellation, and an innovative microphone system integrated into the charging case. They are designed for listening to music, making calls, and using voice assistants both at home and on the go.

Sound

Its custom 12mm dynamic driver , constructed with PMI and TPU materials, delivers detailed reproduction of bass, vocals, and high frequencies. 24-bit Hi-Res audio support and the LDAC codec enable wireless streaming of higher-resolution sound from compatible devices.

They also support AAC and SBC codecs, static spatial audio, and a dynamic bass boost system. The Nothing X app allows you to use the eight-band equalizer and create a sound profile tailored to your hearing.

Noise cancellation

Adaptive active noise cancellation of up to 45 dB analyzes the environment and automatically adjusts its operation. The system checks ambient conditions every 600 milliseconds and compensates for any sound leakage caused by the fit of the headphones.

Transparency mode allows you to hear your surroundings without removing your headphones.

Microphones and calls

Each headset incorporates MEMS microphones, ambient noise reduction using artificial intelligence, and a voice pickup unit that detects vibrations produced when speaking.

The case includes the Super Mic system, consisting of two beamforming microphones. By pressing the TALK button, the user can use the case itself as an external microphone for calls, voice memos, or compatible recordings. It is designed to maintain good voice clarity in environments with noise levels up to 95 dB.

The availability of certain recording, transcription, or Essential Space features may depend on the phone, operating system, and region.

Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.4 offers compatibility with Android, iOS, and Windows phones, tablets, and computers. The Dual Connection feature allows you to keep two devices connected and switch between them.

They also support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and a low-latency mode. With a compatible Nothing phone, latency can drop below 120 ms in Game mode.

Battery and charging

The earbuds offer up to 10 hours of playback without ANC and up to 5.5 hours with noise cancellation enabled . With the charging case, total battery life reaches up to 38 hours without ANC or up to 22 hours with ANC .

Fast charging provides up to 10 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging , using both the earbuds and charging case with noise cancellation disabled. The charging case can be charged via USB-C and is also compatible with wireless charging.

Design and durability

The design combines Nothing's signature transparent aesthetic with aluminum elements. Each earbud weighs approximately 5.2 grams , making them comfortable to wear for extended periods.

The earbuds are IP54 certified for dust, sweat, and splash resistance . The manufacturer specifies that the charging case is not waterproof.
