The POCO F9 Ultra 5G is a high-end smartphone designed to deliver extreme performance for gaming, content creation, and intensive use. It combines the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, an ultra-smooth AMOLED display, an advanced camera system, and a high-capacity battery.

Screen

Its 6.9-inch POCO HyperRGB AMOLED display offers a resolution of 2608 x 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz , providing especially smooth images in games, videos and browsing.

It's compatible with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision , reproduces a wide DCI-P3 color gamut, and reaches up to 2200 nits of HBM brightness. With specific HDR content, it can peak at 10,000 nits over a small area of ​​the screen. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection helps reduce the risk of scratches and everyday damage.

Battery and charging

The 8050 mAh battery offers ample battery life to handle long workdays without constantly needing a power outlet. It supports 100W wired HyperCharge and up to 50W wireless charging.

It also allows power sharing via wired reverse charging up to 27W and wireless reverse charging up to 22.5W. The power adapter is not included in the box for the version sold in Spain.

Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, manufactured using a 3nm process, incorporates an eight-core CPU capable of reaching up to 4.6 GHz and a high-performance Adreno GPU.

This package is complemented by the dedicated VisionBoost D8 graphics chipset, designed to enhance resolution, smoothness, and HDR in compatible games. The POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system helps maintain stable performance during extended gaming sessions.

Camera

The rear camera system is headlined by a 200MP main camera with OIS optical stabilization , accompanied by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

It allows you to record video in up to 8K at 30 fps and offers 4K recording at 30 or 60 fps, Log video, slow motion, and various tracking and stabilization tools. The 32 MP front camera supports 4K video recording and is ready for selfies and video calls with a good level of detail.

Design and durability

The device combines a micro-curved metal chassis, a fiberglass back panel, and a flat-profile camera module. It boasts IP68 water and dust resistance , tested in the lab with immersion in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Water and dust resistance may decrease with wear and should not be interpreted as permanent protection against liquids.

Connectivity

It features 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and dual-frequency positioning compatible with GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS and NavIC.

It supports dual SIM configurations using nano SIM and eSIM , although eSIM availability and activation depend on the country, carrier, and plan. The USB-C port uses the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard.
