The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G takes the battery life and durability of the Redmi Note family to a new level. It combines a high-capacity battery , ultra-fast charging, a high-resolution AMOLED display, and a design developed under the REDMI Titan Quality concept, intended to deliver a reliable experience for years to come.

Screen

Its 6.83-inch AMOLED CrystalRes display offers 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. With a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ compatibility, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, it allows you to enjoy smooth, detailed content that is visible even outdoors.

Wet Touch 2.0 technology improves touch response when the screen or fingers are wet, while high-frequency PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland certifications help reduce eye strain.

Battery and charging

The European version features a 9,210 mAh silicon-carbon battery , designed to provide extended battery life even under heavy use. It supports HyperCharge up to 100W , USB Power Delivery protocols, and reverse wired charging up to 27W.

The power adapter is not included with this European version and must be purchased separately. A PPS-compatible charger is required to achieve maximum power.

Performance

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, manufactured using a 4nm process and featuring eight cores up to 2.6 GHz, delivers responsive performance for applications, multitasking, content playback, and gaming. The Xiaomi HyperOS 3 operating system incorporates intelligent tools such as Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and various AI-assisted editing features.

Camera

The rear camera system consists of a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The main camera has an f/1.5 aperture and can record video in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.

On the front it incorporates a 32 MP camera, also compatible with 4K recording, ready for selfies, video calls and content creation with a good level of detail.

Design and durability

Its reinforced structure offers IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications for dust and water resistance under controlled laboratory conditions. The screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the device has passed certified drop tests of up to three meters.

Water resistance may decrease due to wear, shocks or repairs and the warranty does not cover liquid damage outside of the testing conditions indicated by the manufacturer.

Connectivity

It features 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and multi-system navigation via GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. It supports dual SIM configurations with nano-SIM and eSIM cards, although eSIM availability and activation depend on the country and carrier.
